RAIN DATE: This event was originally planned for Friday, October 16. We moved it to Friday, October 23, due to rain.
At 5:30 pm, join us in the barn to decorate paper lanterns while enjoying apple cider and donuts.
At 6:00 pm, we’ll settle in for a special presentation from Wildlife in Crisis, culminating in the release of a rehabilitated owl back into the wild. Our annual wildlife release is an unforgettable reminder of nature’s resilience and of why land conservation and wildlife rehabilitation matter so much.
Then, as dusk settles over Chestnut Meadows, we’ll light our lanterns and stroll the meadow trail, keeping an eye out for our feathered friend.
